Foam packaging

Hard foam packaging material is often used in boxes to protect fragile or vulnerable products. The shape of the product is often cut out of that rigid foam. The material exists in black, but also in white. You may sort these at the PMD.

Attention: is the packaging material not foam but EPS (Expanded Polystyrene)? The latter is easily recognised by the small beads that are released when you tear open the EPS. This material is not processed via the blue bag and you bring it to the recycling park.

Attention: do you often have foam packaging material to sort in a business context? In large quantities, these packaging materials are not desirable in the PMD bag.
