Foam wrap

Foam wrap is used to protect products still in their box, in order to avoid the product getting damaged. This foam wrap can be found around (parts of) electrical appliances such as TV's, or even in the form of a bag protecting smaller products. These are plastic packaging and go in the PMD bag.

Larger films interfere with the processes in the sorting centres. Large plastic films can sometimes be collected at the recycling park of your municipality. You can find more information on the website of your commune or intermunicapal authority.

Please note: such films are only welcome in the PMD bag if you need to sort them as a consumer. Pallet films and other large films that are released in large quantities in business contexts should be collected via a separate waste stream through your waste operator.
