Plastic dishes for foodstuffs

Lots of cold meat (ham, salami, luncheon meat, etc.), sliced cheese, meat, fish, chicken, prepared meals, etc. that you can buy at the refrigerated counter in the supermarket come packaged in a plastic container or tray. When empty, this type of plastic packaging can go in the PMD bag. Is the packaging also sealed with a layer of plastic film? Remove this from the dish first, then throw it in the PMD bag as well (separate from the dish).
